While much of the summer chatter centred around the potential arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, Vinicius, now sporting the club's esteemed No. 7 jersey, showcased why the Frenchman might not be an immediate necessity.

Vini's impressive 45-minute cameo against the Rosonerri demonstrated his capabilities, as he notched the decisive goal in a thrilling 3-2 triumph, GOAL reports.

Wearing the No. 7 shirt, which has previously been adorned by illustrious figures like Emilio Butragreno, Raul Gonzalez, and Cristiano Ronaldo, Vinicius didn't seem daunted by the historical significance.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have unveiled their away kit for the 2023/24 campaign. Los Blancos players donned the shirt during their flight to the USA for their pre-season tour, Sports Brief reported.

The navy blue jersey features a tonal graphic symbolizing infinity as a sign of the fans' unwavering love and support. The team will wear the kit for the first time against AC Milan in Los Angeles on July 23.
