- Real Madrid are set to kick off their tour against AC Milan
Real Madrid recently weathered the storm that came with key summer departures after their shambolic end to last season.
The Spanish giants look thin in attack after the departures of forwards Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard, and Mariano Diaz.
Madrid, however, appeared to have quickly moved past these departures after completing the signing of Bundesliga player of the season, Jude Bellingham; AC Milan’s Brahim Diaz; and Turkish sensation, Arda Guler.
Real Madrid's pre-season tour
Real Madrid's 2023-24 pre-season appears an integral part of the club’s season, as it could help coach Carlo Ancelotti resolve the issue of revitalising an ageing squad and closing the gap on Barcelona in La Liga.
In footage that has excited the fans of the club, Ancelotti’s side have settled in well at the UCLA facility, as seen in a video posted by the club on its official Facebook page.
Last year, Real Madrid kept things simple, heading to the United States for a brief tour before returning to Valdebebas to prepare for the year.
This season, things look to be much the same and without the European Super Cup to worry about, Los Blancos should have even more time to prepare.
Real Madrid’s tour will see them play four fixtures in two weeks.
They start their campaign against UEFA Champions League semi-finalists AC Milan on July 24 at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles.
They continue their tour three days later when they square off against Manchester United on July 27 in Houston, Texas.
The 14-time UCL winners will stay in Texas for the summer Clasico clash with arch-rivals Barcelona on July 29.

Real Madrid announce financial results
Sports Brief previously reported that Real Madrid concluded the 2022/23 financial year by making €11.8 million ($13.25 million) in profit- a positive result compared to their pre-pandemic levels.
Despite the impact of COVID-19 and the expensive renovation of Santiago Bernabeu, the 2022 European champions have registered a profit over the last four years.
In an official statement, Real Madrid announced that their revenue for the 2022/23 season was €843 million, up 17% from the previous year and surpassing their pre-pandemic revenue of €757 million in 2018/19 for the first time.
