After weeks of uncertainty about his future with Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane is in talks over a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
The Senegal forward had a tough first season with the Bundesliga champions, and an injury further compounded his woes. It seems he will only last one season in Germany after leaving Liverpool last summer.
According to the Athletic, a representative of the agency that represents the Premier League winner met and had a chat with Al Nassr's sporting director Goran Vucevic in Portugal to discuss a possible move to Saudi Arabia.
Mane is with Thomas Tuchel's side in Portugal for their pre-season. He signed for the German giants last summer for £35 million and was expected to stay at least until 2025.
The 2019 Champions League winner with Liverpool was reportedly ready to join Bayern in their pre-season tour of Asia, which kicks off next week.
Mane's difficult first season with Bayern
The 31-year-old had an underwhelming first campaign with Bayern. He played 38 games in all competitions and scored just 12 goals, and had six assists, per Transfermarkt. He scored 23 in his last season with Liverpool before moving to Germany.
Moreover, his first season was far from smooth. He had an altercation with Leroy Sane which resulted in a suspension by the club. An injury forced him to miss the Qatar 2022 World Cup and several months of club action.
If the deal is successful, Mane will join Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr, and many other top European players like Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante, who play for rivals Al Ittihad.

Tuchel's warning to Mane
Sports Brief earlier reported on Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel giving an honest assessment of Mane's first season with Bayern.
Tuchel said his performances last season were below expectations and even hinted about the departure of the Senegal star.
The former Chelsea boss also said Mane has strong competition for his spot.
