FootballRomelu Lukaku: Juventus Fans Protest Against Signing Chelsea Striker
- Inter Milan have pulled out of the race to sign Romelu Lukaku after he spoke to Juventus
- Chelsea are desperate to get the player's chaos and big salary off their books
- Juventus fans have now protested after it emerged they are the frontrunner for the Belgian
Romelu Lukaku has found a way to be hated by every club fan and has already created a hostile environment in Turin if he does join Juventus.
Lukaku's activities since leaving Inter Milan for the first time to rejoin former club Chelsea for a then club-record fee of £97.5m has been nothing short of chaotic.
It began with a Sky Italia interview four months into his time in London. He criticised Thomas Tuchel's tactics and told Inter Milan fans he would return to the club in his prime.
Todd Boehly, who had just bought the club from Roman Abramovich, granted his request to return to Inter on loan, and despite a new-look club, he has reiterated his desire to leave permanently.
Juventus fans protest against Lukaku
Di Marzio reported that Inter pulled out of the race to sign Lukaku after the striker went incommunicado with Nerazzurri, and it emerged he had spoken to the Old Lady through his lawyers.
According to a video on Twitter by Tutto Mercato Web, the Bianconeri fans have now staged a mini protest in front of the club's medical facilities telling the club they don't want the former Manchester United striker at their club.
Inter have identified Arsenal's Folarin Balogun as an option to Lukaku but would have to part ways with about £50 million if they want to sign the American striker who impressed on loan at Reims last season.
PSG Ultras threaten Vlahovic
Romelu Lukaku is not the only one not wanted by potential club fans; the man he is expected to replace at Juventus has also been told not to dare near his likely destination.
Sports Brief reported that PSG Ultras threatened Dusan Vlahovic not to come to Paris, else they would cut his three fingers after a past incident in which the Serbian striker appeared to mock Kosovo.
