Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid’s latest Galactico, has not held back on his assessment of the Spanish giant’s fitness coach and head physio, Antonio Pintus.
The 20-year-old, who is said to be adjusting to life in Spain nearly perfectly, was recently quizzed by Real Madrid TV about life in the Spanish capital. Bellingham was asked about the fitness coach who he worked with last week before every tactical training session.
Speaking to Real Madrid TV, the midfielder said:
"Antonio Pintus loves to kill us, and that's his job I suppose.
"But yeah, I love him. He's a great guy.
"I'm loving it at the minute, every moment, it's a joy.
"I'm really enjoying being out there with the lads, learning from the staff. In the locker room, there is a brilliant atmosphere, I think I've slotted in quite well, just really happy with, with everything so far."
Bellingham was also asked about his new teammates. The midfielder lauded them, emphasising the humility within the squad.
"New teammates? It's been brilliant. They're great lads, I just enjoy being around them.
"Regardless of what they've won, they're really down to earth," the Englishman also said.
Bellingham hailed by Madrid staff
Despite having just recovered from a knee injury, Bellingham has been hailed by the staff of Real Madrid.
The midfielder’s commitment to training and interpersonal relationships appears to have stood out during his first week at Los Blancos.
As reported by Relevo, the English midfielder was hailed by a member of the club’s training staff, who said:

"Above all, he is a very good person."
Bellingham will hope he can write his name in gold at Real Madrid and surpass the legacy of previous English players at the Spanish club.
Beckham sends message to Bellingham
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Jude Bellingham has revealed he received a good luck message from former Real Madrid man, David Beckham after completing his switch to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
The 20-year-old became just the seventh British player to join Real Madrid following his €103 million euro (£88.5m) move from Borussia Dortmund last month, following in the footsteps of the likes of Beckham, Gareth Bale, and Michael Owen.
