PSG Planning to Hijack Bayern’s Bid to Sign Spurs Striker Harry Kane

Bayern Munich will face tough competition in their bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly looking to match Bayern's bid for the England captain.

Kane has one year left on his deal with the Spurs, and following a difficult 2022/23 campaign, the 29-year-old is open to a move away from England.

According to the Independent, PSG have had interest in the England striker but pulled back early in the summer. Top European clubs like PSG, Bayern, Manchester United, and Chelsea looking to buy an elite striker, and the French champions are looking to pounce on the established forward.

According to the report, PSG are intensifying their bid to sign Kolo Muani, who has attracted top clubs following a phenomenal World Cup performance and a terrific Bundesliga campaign where he scored 15 goals and provided 14 assists.

The Ligue 1 champions were also attempting to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen but were overpriced. With Bayern going all in to sign Kane, PSG have been alerted and are ready to match any bid by Bayern. Who will win the bidding war?

Will Kane leave Tottenham?

The striker has one year remaining on his contract, and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is expected to ask for a significant amount to sell his best player.

Reports emerged this week that Levy met with Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen to discuss Kane's future. The England star was named in the club's squad for their pre-season tour in Australia.

Moreover, new manager Ange Postecoglou spoke with Kane for the first time, and their conversation was positive, per Football London.

Tottenham reject Bayern second bid

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bayern Munich’s bid to sign Harry Kane this summer from Tottenham Hotspur is proving more difficult than they may have anticipated.

Bayern had an offer of €60m plus add-ons to sign Kane rejected by Tottenham last month. Now the Bundesliga champions have returned with an improved deal.

The Bavarians have made an improved offer of €80m for the 29-year-old forward as they are keen to bring the English forward to the Allianz Arena this summer.
