Football2023 WWC: Super Falcons Coach Admits Injury Worries Ahead of Clash Against Canada
Randy Waldrum who is the head coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria has explained that some of his players are suffering from injuries with just 11 days to the kickoff of their campaign at the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
The American and his wards have been in Australia where they have been training for the World Cup as fans back home in Nigeria are waiting to watch the Super Falcons.
Going into the tournament, Waldrum and the Nigerian Football Chiefs had issues with the coach claiming that he is being owed and that his employers are nonchalant about the team's activities.
Waldrum also questioned the NFF over the FIFA grant money they got ahead of the World Cup.
According to a video the Super Falcons posted on their Twitter page, the 66-year-old stated clearly that his players are working well in the camp.

“Couple of knocks, a couple of injuries that concern me a little bit but outside of that they are healthy so it’s all about their performances and how they play.
“It’s been very good, the camp has gone really well the players are working really hard, and the talent level is good. We are happy with what we are into now which is day five so it’s been fun to watch.“
Waldrum rubbishes NFF Chiefs
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Randy Waldrum, the coach of the Super Falcons, rubbished the Nigerian Football Federation Chiefs and asked them to tell Nigerians and fans where they keep a $960,000 World Cup grant from FIFA.
This comes with just two weeks to the start of the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. All is clearly not well in the camp of the Super Falcons.

FootballThe trouble started last month when Waldrum accused the NFF leaders of imposing some players on him for his final World Cup list.
However, NFF spokesman, Ademola Olajire dismissed the accusation, claiming that the 66-year-old American coach was actually livid with the football house's refusal to approve his request to bring in another assistant.
