FootballThe End for Sadio Mane at Bayern Munich? Senegal Forward Not in Plans of Bundesliga Champions
- Sadio Mane's time with Bayern Munich could be over after just one season
- The Senegalese is reportedly not in the plans of the Bundesliga champions
- The 31-year-old has had a difficult time in Germany following a shock move
Sadio Mane shocked many fans last summer when he decided to leave Liverpool to join Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
After a tough season with the German giants, his future has come into question, with multiple reports linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia.
The 31-year-old could be on the move this summer because he is reportedly not in the plans of the Bundesliga champions.
According to Kicker, via Get Football, Thomas Tuchel's side have told the former Liverpool superstar he is not in their plans.
The report also suggested that clubs from Saudi Arabia, who have been making huge signings, could lure the Senegalese away from Germany with a lucrative offer.
His agent, Bacary Cisse refuted those rumours, per Sports Brief, saying talks with clubs in the Middle East have never even taken place.
Mane has a deal with Bayern until 2025, but he has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
His incident with Leroy Sane after a Champions League loss to Manchester City - where he allegedly punched his teammate and was suspended - has put his future with the club in doubt.
How Mane performed in 2022/23
The former Southampton forward made 38 appearances in all competitions for Bayern last season, with 27 coming as a starter.
He made 25 appearances in the Bundesliga, but a leg injury forced him to miss over three months of the campaign.
Mane scored 12 goals for his new club and even got his hands on the Bundesliga title, dramatically won by the club on the final day, per Transfermarkt.

FootballBayern then lost in the quarter-finals of both the Champions League and the DFB-Pokal. A move to Saudi Arabia could see him reunited with his former Liverpool teammate, Roberto Firmino.
Harry Kane to replace Mane?
Sports Brief earlier reported on Bayern making an effort to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane to replace Mane and Robert Lewandowski.
The Englishman is nearing the end of his contract and there is little indication he will agree to an extension, forcing Spurs to explore a transfer move.
Bayern had an offer of €60 million-plus for Kane rejected last month and the Bundesliga champions have returned with an improved deal of €80mil.
