Kylian Mbappe has boasted that the current France team have the quality to become World Champions again despite missing out at the last tournament in Qatar.
Les Blues lost the 2022 FIFA World Cup to Argentina via penalties despite playing an entertaining 3-3 draw after extra time, with Mbappe netting a hattrick.
According to Sportskeeda, Mbappe, who was superb throughout the 2022 World Cup, is adamant France will bounce back from their final heartbreak in Qatar.
"There is only the (World Cup) that I regret. If we lost, it's because we had to lose but it's only a postponement. I think we'll win one more. The group has this desire, this dream."
France has been World Champions twice in 1998 and 2018, and the Paris Saint-Germain forward, recently named Les Blues captain, hopes to lead them again to the trophy in the near future.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe has revealed he always plays to win irrespective of the team he is playing in as speculations surrounding his future at Paris Saint-Germain, MARCA reports.
With his contract at PSG running until the end of next season, the 24-year-old’s future is up in the air amidst interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Mbappe was recently crowned as the best French player of the 2022/23 season, presented by L'Equipe and France Football, and he was also voted as the Ligue 1 Most Valuable Player also.
