Arda Guler has left his mother teary-eyed during his unveiling for Real Madrid.
Los Blancos presented the Turkey international on Friday as their latest talented youngster to arrive at the club.
The 18-year-old’s move to Santiago Bernabeu outfit was confirmed on Thursday, with the fee being revealed as €20m up front for Fenerbahce.
As reported by Football Espana, there is a potential further €10m in bonuses, and 20% of any future sales as part of the deal.
Guler's mother was unable to hold back his emotions after seeing her teenage son presented as a Real Madrid player.
As a video of the highlights of Güler’s career so far was played at Real Madrid, Serap Guler could be seen shedding a few tears.
The left-footed playmaker helped his mum wipe the tears away and kissed her on the cheek. Guler's father took his wife's hand to comfort her, too.
“I repeat that there have been many clubs that have presented their offers. But as soon as Real Madrid appeared, all of the others lost importance," Guler said during his unveiling, via Madrid XTRA.

Real beat their arch-rivals in the race for Guler, completing an initial €20m deal to sign the Turkish midfield wonderkid from Fenerbahce on Thursday (July 6).
And Vini Jr didn’t seem remotely surprised that the 18-year-old had decided to join the 14-time European champions, amid interest from Barca and Arsenal.

Earlier, Sports Brief analysed eight players who decided to snub Barcelona to sign for their eternal nemesis Real Madrid following the signing of Arda Guler.
The 18-year-old, who has emerged as one of the most promising prospects in European football and has been compared to Lionel Messi, penned a six-year deal at the Bernabeu.
Guler had a €17.5 million release clause and Los Blancos paid that transfer fee to beat off competition from rivals Barcelona to sign the teenager.
