Newly acquired Borussia Dortmund forward Felix Nmecha has got the attention of everyone at Dortmund even before kicking the ball for the Bundesliga outfit.
Nmecha, a highly controversial social media figure, recently completed a € 30 million deal to join last season’s Bundesliga runners-up from Wolfsburg.
According to Goal, the 22-year-old forward had previously shared alleged homophobic and transphobic posts on Instagram, but he has insisted his messages were "taken out of context".
Nmecha’s deal includes an Instagram clause that will allow Borussia Dortmund to fine him € 1 million if he is deemed to have posted something that goes against the club's values.
The forward, who was previously with Manchester City, scored three goals and set up seven more in 50 Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg before sealing a move to Dortmund this summer.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund fans are not delighted with the club’s decision to go ahead with the signing of highly controversial forward Felix Nmecha from Wolfsburg, Fansided reports.
Dortmund completed the controversial signing of the 22-year-old forward earlier this week amid plenty of criticism and protests from the club’s supporters.
Nmecha began training with his new Borussia Dortmund teammates on Thursday, and he could make his debut next week in the pre-season friendly match against Oberliga side Westfalia Rhynern.
