FootballLiverpool Indavertently Reveal Another Player Is Leaving the Club Through Website Activity
- Liverpool may have accidentally revealed a club departure through the club's website
- The Reds, who finished fifth in the league last season, are in the middle of a squad revamp
- Amid several departures, the club left out one player from their website when releasing their new away kit
Another Liverpool player could be on his way out of the club, as an interesting detail on the club website provided a telling hint of his departure.
Centre-back Nat Phillips could be on his way out of the club as he was a conspicuous absentee when it unveiled its away kit for the 2023/24 campaign.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will look completely different next season after several departures including Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino.
There have also been some new signings, with Alexis Mac Allister coming in from Brighton, while Dominik Szoboszlai was signed from RB Leipzig.
Amid changes in the squad, Liverpool appears to have revealed that Nat Phillips could be the next one to leave Anfield.
On the club website, there is no option to select Phillips’ name on the back of the shirt, as is the case with the rest of the senior squad.
It is not difficult to see how Phillips could leave Anfield, as the 26-year-old has struggled for minutes in the last two seasons, making just two appearances for Liverpool in two years.
In the 2021/22 season, he spent part of it on loan at Bournemouth and was heavily linked with a move away from Liverpool last summer.
SportBible now reports that Leeds are one club that have Phillips on their radar as they look to put an end to his Anfield misery.
Another club interested in Phillips is Dutch side Feyenoord.
