Barcelona legend, Andres Iniesta, could reportedly reunite with Lionel Messi at Major League Soccer side, Inter Miami.
The duo enjoyed a glittering career together at Camp Nou, where they won multiple titles and honours.
Both players started off together at Barcelona's academy, famously known as La Masia, and grew through the ranks until they earned a place on the senior team.
However, they parted ways at a point in their careers, with Iniesta moving to Japan in 2018 with Vissel Kobe after he called time on his spell with the Catalan giants.
Messi, meanwhile, would later join French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, until the end of last season when he quit the Ligue 1 club.
The Argentine international is due to join Inter Miami, having penned a lucrative deal worth between $50 million and $60mil per year, per CNN.
Which way for Iniesta?
On his part, Iniesta is currently without a club after he quit Vissel Kobe at the end of the season. Despite his advancing age, the Spaniard is understood to be keen to continue playing at the top level.
Additionally, Marca reports that Inter Miami have have ambitions of bringing the veteran midfielder to Florida in the coming weeks.
According to the publication, a move to Saudi Arabia has also been mooted for the 39-year-old Spaniard.
Inter Miami have been on a spending spree in recent weeks, having already acquired the services of Sergio Busquets and also reportedly in talks with Jordi Alba.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the MLS side could parade a new-look team soon, with top players set to join the Floridians this summer.
Messi will debut for Inter Miami and is the most high-profile player set to join the David Beckham-owned club after departing from Europe.
Uruguay legend, Luis Suarez, and Spain international, Alba are expected to link up with the veteran, and Barcelona legend, Sergio Busquets.
