Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq has shared an adorable photo of himself stepping out onto the pitch with his daughter Aisha as injury recovery continues for the 26-year-old former Roma player.
On September 11 last year, the Nigerian forward suffered a right knee injury during his third game in a Real Sociedad shirt and was ruled out for the rest of the season.
The injury suffered by Sadiq was a big blow for him and many of his fans, who were expecting him to score goals for Real Sociedad last term.
Despite not having Sadiq in their squad, Real Sociedad did well last season as they finished fifth on the final League standings and picked up a ticket for the Europa League.
According to the picture Sadiq shared on his official Instagram page, the lanky striker appreciated God for giving him a lovely daughter.

In the comment session, Sadiq was criticized for not covering his daughter Aisha with the traditional hijab, in a report also seen on Pulse and Naija Sports.
The Super Eagles player was later forced to block all the comments on the photo from being seen.
