FootballBayern Munich to Make Second Bid for Tottenham Striker Harry Kane
- Bayern Munich are set to make a second bid for England and Tottenham forward, Harry Kane
- Kane has been identified as the Bavarians’ top transfer target this summer
- Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in the 29-year-old forward
Bayern Munich are not giving up on their pursuit of Harry Kane after seeing their first bid for the England international turned down by Tottenham Hotspur.
The Bavarians have seen their initial €70 million offer for the 29-year-old forward rejected by the English Premier League side as they seek to secure a marquee centre-forward.
According to Caught Offside, transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Bayern Munich are now set to make a second improved bid to sign Kane this summer.
“So far, no updates on this after the developments last week – for the moment I don’t know when Bayern will bid again for the Tottenham striker after their first proposal was rejected.
“The idea is to try again as we said many times but as for the precise the day, I’m not able to confirm, and Bayern would never share that information – it is not in their style.”
Kane is nearing the end of his contract in North London, and there is little indication that an extension will be agreed, forcing Spurs to explore a transfer while they can still demand a premium fee.
Kane makes huge transfer decision
Meanwhile, Kane has decided that he wants to move to Bayern Munich this summer with one year left on his current deal with Spurs, Football London reports.
Bayern have already seen an initial offer of €70million turned down by Spurs, although the Bundesliga champions currently remain unsure if Kane will be available at any price this summer.
Talks are continuing over a deal for the England forward between Bayern and Spurs, while the possibility remains for a free transfer in 2024 when his contract expires.

FootballTottenham deny Bayern Munich bid
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Tottenham have denied receiving an opening bid from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane and have claimed that there they have no intention of selling the forward this summer.
Bayern Munich are yet to replace Robert Lewandowski, who departed for Barcelona last summer. They have since continued to keep tabs on England captain, Kane, who is about to enter the final year of the six-year contract he signed back in June 2018.
Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on Kane’s situation, having seen Karim Benzema leave to join Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
