Atletico Madrid winger Memphis Depay and Dutch teammate Georginio Wijnaldum paid a visit to Ghana's national Chief Imam, Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, following their visit to the country.
The Dutch forward and the AS Roma midfielder are in Ghana for the summer holidays after a long season with their respective clubs.
The former Manchester United forward and his national teammate were at the residence of Chief Iman, who had a good chat with the player before blessing him with Islamic prayers.
In a video shared on social media, Depay and his friends are seen receiving supplications from the Muslim leader in Ghana.
Depay spends most of his time in Ghana during vacations and has been in the country for the past three years, where he is involved in various philanthropic work.
Before visiting the Chief Imam, he had spent time with aspiring boxers in a gym located in Accra. He even donated funds for the renovation of the sports facility.
During the summer of last year, the 29-year-old commissioned a facility for the school for disability in Cape Coast.
He is expected to spend a few more days in Ghana before leaving for pre-season with Atletico Madrid in July.
Meanwhile, Wijnaldum will head to Italy where he joins his AS Roma side for preparations ahead of the new campaign. The former Liverpool star spent most of last season on the sidelines due to injury.
However, he made a strong comeback before the campaign ended.

The AS Roma and Atletico Madrid players were spotted in a gym in Accra, where they engaged aspiring boxers as well as young children.
Depay, who has Ghanaian heritage, mostly spends his holidays in the West African country, where he is involved in philanthropic work.
