The Usuthu recently appointed Pablo Franco Martin as the side’s new coach and are looking to bolster their squad. Martin was previously involved with Getafe and Real Madrid.
While it appears Jali will remain in the country, his agent hasn’t ruled out a move overseas.
As noted by Soccer Laduma, Mike Makaab revealed that Jali could go to China or the Middle East.
“When we talk about a specific player like Andile Jali, there’s a lot of speculation in the media. AJ and I got in touch, and he’s starting to do his own preparation before the preseason so that whoever signs him will get an AJ in the right frame of mind and the right physical condition,” he said.
“I’m hoping that by next week, we will have a clear indication of where his next step is. Don’t rule out an overseas move, don’t rule out the Middle East or China,” he continued.
