Immediate former Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets has flown to Kenya for his post-season holidays.
Busquests left Barcelona at the end of the season after helping the club win another La Liga title.
Busquets was spotted mingling and taking photos with locals at the Maasai Mara together with his family. The 34-year-old is married to Elena Galera and together, they have two sons; Enzo Busquests and Levi Busquets
The celebrated holding midfielder is yet to announce his next move. It has been reported that he has received offers from Saudi Arabia. There have also been reports linking him with a possible reunion with Lionel Messi, who is expected to move to Major League Soccer's Inter Miami.
Before this, Busquets played for the Blaugrana his whole life winning 9 La Liga titles, 3 Champions League titles and a host of other domestic cups. He was part of the famous midfield trio that had Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta back in the day.
Mauro Icardi's visit to Kenya
Busquets' visit follows on the heels of a number of famous sports personalities who visited Kenya last year. Former Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi enjoyed his off-season holiday after winning the French Ligue 1 last season
In an Instagram post spotted by Sports Brief, Icardi has been accompanied to Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, by his then partner, Wanda Narra. The duo visited the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi.
Lewis Hamilton also visited Kenya
Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton was also spotted enjoying his mini-vacation in Kenya. Rumours had been rife that Hamilton had jetted into the country on August 14, 2022.

FootballHamilton took to his Instagram account to confirm that he was actually in the country, calling it a wonderful experience.
Hamilton, who races for Mercedes, had earlier shared photos of his trip to Namibia, where he visited the expansive Kalahari desert. He had mentioned that he was using the Formula 1 summer break to retrace his African roots.
