Super Eagles Striker Posts an Awesome Photo of His Wife and Son To Mark Their Wedding Anniversary

Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has posted an adorable picture of himself, his wife, and his son to mark their five-year wedding anniversary.

Awoniyi is the man of the moment after helping Forest to escape relegation last season in the Premier League with the Nigerian scoring vital goals against Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

In total, Awoniyi netted 10 Premier League goals for Forest in his debut season.

The former Liverpool player took to his official Instagram page to share a cute photo of his family thanking God for how his marital journey has been so far.

Who is Awoniyi's wife?

Awoniyi married his partner Taiwo Jesudun in an engagement and traditional wedding in Kabba on 15 June 2018, followed by a white wedding on 16 June in Ilorin.

Awoniyi gears up for Nigeria

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi explained that he and other Super Eagles teammates are preparing hard for the coming game against Sierra Leone in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Following his omission from the Super Eagles in 2022, Awoniyi returned to the Nigerian team for the first time and he is expected to compete with Victor Osimhen for a starting lineup in the game against Sierra Leone.

The former Liverpool player was impressive last season in the Premier League where he scored 10 goals for Forest which saved them from relegation.

Awoniyi made it clear that he is ready to help the three-time African champions to beat Sierra Leone in Liberia.
