Jude Bellingham has described the last three years with Borussia Dortmund as the biggest of his life after sealing a mega deal to join Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer.
The England midfielder will join Los Blancos next season after three awesome seasons with BVB, the La Liga side paid a whopping €103 million for his services.
According to Goal, Bellingham has now stated he is leaving Dortmund as a man after arriving at the Bundesliga club as a boy from Birmingham City in 2019.
“I am honoured to have represented this football club as often as I have, I’d like to thank all the players, managers, bosses and members of staff that have played a role in my time at the club.
“I’ll always keep a place for BVB in my heart and will never forget the impact the values of the club has had on my life."
Bellingham is set to join a new generation of Real Madrid midfielders following the previous arrivals of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Bellingham made history at Dortmund
Meanwhile, after three successful years in Germany, Bellingham leaves Borussia Dortmund having etched his name in the club’s history books, Football Espana reports.
Bellingham remains the youngest Englishman to start a Champions League match, doing so when Dortmund played against Lazio aged 17 years and 113 days.
Bellingham completes his transfer from BVB to Real Madrid as the reigning Bundesliga Player of the Season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists from midfield in 2022/23.
