Liverpool will visit Chelsea in the opening game week of the 2023/2024 season, with the full schedule now released.
The highly-anticipated clash will mark Mauricio Pochettino's return to English football following his appointment as the new Chelsea boss.
The fixture will come on Sunday, August 13, two days after defending champions Manchester City kick off the new season with an away clash to Burnley. This game will see Vincent Kompany, now Burnley's Head Coach, welcome his former side to Turf Moor.
Arsenal will have an early opportunity to exact their revenge on Nottingham Forest when they clash at the Emirates on Saturday, August 12. Steven Copper's side claimed a huge 1-0 victory over the Gunners to hand Manchester City the title with three games to spare.
Manchester United, meanwhile, will be in action on Monday night when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.
Debutants Luton Town will have a taste of top-flight football for the first time when they play Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.
