He uploaded a photo of himself with the caption 'A smile a day keeps the noise away'- appearing to call the comments about the trip 'noise' that doesn't bother him.

The 31-year-old Spartak Moscow star Promes is no stranger to controversy. According to the Guardian, he was arrested in 2021 for stabbing his cousin at a family event and admitted to wanting to stab him to death in a wiretapped conversation.
