A Manchester City fan is confident of his team’s victory in the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan on Saturday in Istanbul.
The English club and the Italian giants will battle it out for Europe’s most prestigious club competition at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Turkey.
City dispatched record-holders Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate to reach the final, while Nerazzurri made light work of their city rivals AC Milan 3-0 in the other semi-final.
The English champions are odds-on favourites, but you never can tell in a cup final- surprises happen. City were favourites against Chelsea in 2021, but the Londoners nicked it under Thomas Tuchel.
City fan gets treble tattoo
Since Abu Dhabi Group took over City in 2008, they have seen an upward turn in their fortunes. Guardiola becoming manager in 2016 and enjoying years of sustained success has made the City fans confident.
According to a video shared on TikTok by Stuart3108, he got the treble tattoo as he landed in Turkey for the final, showing extreme confidence in his team’s chances.
The tattoo featured an image of the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League trophies around the club’s logo, inked on his calf.
The Cityzens completed a 'three-peat' of the English League title after overtaking Arsenal. According to Front Office Sports, it helped the club become the most valuable football brand, overtaking European giants Real Madrid.
