Legendary striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed his all-time best XI of teammates.

Zlatan recently called time on his illustrious football career that saw him ply his trade with some of the best teams in Europe.

The Sun reports that the 41-year-old announced his retirement from professional football after the conclusion of the 2022/23 Serie A campaign.

The Swedish star retired at AC Milan, who he joined for the third time in his career after he left LA Galaxy in the MLS.

Apart from the Italian giants, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the other top teams Ibrahimovic played for.

The former Swedish international also turned out for Ajax and Inter Milan during his career. His stints with these top clubs saw him play alongside some of the finest players in the world.

Zlatan shares teammate best XI

Ibra has previously named the best team of players that he had the pleasure of playing alongside. The veteran forward took to Instagram to share a handwritten list.

His top teammates' list featured some of football's biggest stars over the last two decades, including Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, and Gianluigi Buffon.

Lilian Thuram, Thiago Silva, Alessandro Nesta, Patrick Vieira, Pavel Nedved and Brazilian defender, Maxwell also made the cut, with the forward incredibly including himself in the starting team.

One outstanding thing from the list was the exclusion of David de Gea from the lineup. Zlatan had included the Spaniard in the squad but went on to scribble out his name.

The two played together at Manchester United between 2016 and 2018.

Eto'o pays tribute to Zlatan

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on legendary Cameroonian footballer, Samuel Eto'o paying Ibrahimovic tribute after the striker announced his retirement at the end of the season.

In an emotional farewell at the San Siro before the match between AC Milan and Hellas Verona, the 41-year-old broke down in tears as he said his final goodbyes to the game.
