Manchester City skipper Ilkay Gundogan has finally got his FA Cup medal after he missed out on one on Saturday, June 3.
Gundogan played a vital part in City's triumph during the final of the completion against rivals Man United at Wembley Stadium.
The Citizens stunned Erik ten Hag's charges 2-1 to lift the domestic title, with Gundogan scoring a brace during the tie.
Despite his heroics, Goal reported that the German and Kevin De Bruyne did not get a winners medal after the final.
Luckily for De Bruyne, he got one from Ederson, with The Prince of Wales spotted appearing to give an explanation to Gundogan on why he had missed out on a medal.
Gundogan gets FA Cup medal
The Sun now reports Gundogan has finally laid a hand on his own FA Cup medal, having been denied one on the Wembley balcony.
The publication reports that clubs are often given an extra 19 to ensure all staff get a medal — including players not in the matchday squad.
It is from this that Gundogan finally got his later on Sunday, June 4.
The German midfielder and the City entourage will now be shifting their focus to the upcoming Champions League final.

FootballSports Brief also reported on how Victor Lindelof was struck by an object as Manchester United players were celebrating their equalizer against City.
According to a video shared on Twitter by @TheFergusonWay, the Swede was picked out among his teammates and the object hit straight below his left eye, he bent down immediately but it was nothing serious and he continued the game.
He was substituted in the 83rd minute of the game and replaced by academy graduate Scott McTominay, in what appears to be a tactical substitution more than a precaution or injury.
