Neymar is saddened to see teammate Lionel Messi will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the month after spending two years together in the French capital.

According to Sportskeeda, Neymar revealed he and Messi had tried their best to bring success to the Paris club but it did not work as they had expected and wished him the best in his future endeavours.

"Brother... it didn't turn out as we thought but we tried everything. It was a pleasure to share 2 more years with you. Good luck in your new stage and be happy. I love you #leomessi"

Neymar and Messi along with Luis Suarez, forged one of the deadliest attacking partnerships in history with Barcelona when the trio guided the Spanish to numerous titles, including a treble in 2015.
