Paulo Dybala was inconsolable after AS Roma lost the Europa League final against Sevilla on Wednesday night, at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
Roma went into the tie as the firm favourites to secure the European title, owing to Sevilla's struggles this season, especially in La Liga.
However, it was the Spanish giants who eventually emerged the victors after an epic penalty shootout, which they won 4-1.
The Mirror reports the two teams settled for a 1-1 draw during regulation time, with Dybala scoring the opener in the 35th minute.

FootballRoma's lead was short-lived as Sevilla equalised shortly after the interval, courtesy of Gianluca Mancini, who inadvertently put the ball into his own net.
While the match spilt over into extra time, there was no outright winner, with Sevilla being crowned champions after winning the shootout.
Roma's heartbreaking defeat left Jose Mourinho's charges distraught, with Dybala caught on camera crying uncontrollably.
