Granada player, Myrto Uzuni ended a special season in style by popping the question to his stunning fiancée, soon after his side was promoted to La Liga.
Uzuni, with assistance from the stadium lighting crew, led his University student partner, Uarda Hyseni, into the centre circle during the team's season-ending lap of honour.
The Albanian star then bent down to propose as the floodlights were tenderly turned off.
When a gobsmacked Uarda accepted and embraced her soon-to-be husband, her teammates and the remaining spectators cheered wildly, per Daily Star.
She uploaded a video of the moment on Instagram, describing it as the 'happiest day of her life'.
"I said yes," she wrote. "I'm very excited and I can't find the words to describe this happiness. It was the happiest day of my life."
Addressing her footballer fiancé, she added:
"You make me feel like the happiest woman in the world. You always do and I'm sure you always will."
How Uzuni fared at Granada
A year after being demoted to the Segunda Division, Uzuni scored 20 goals in 29 league games to propel Granada back to the Spanish top flight, per Albanian Daily News.
The 27-year-old, who has previously played for clubs in Hungary, Croatia, and his home country of Albania, joined the Spanish side mid-way through last season.
