According to The Mirror, the match was the last one for a number of Chelsea stars, who now look set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Mount is one such player, with several reports indicating the west Londoners could cash in on the attacking midfielder this summer.

The Englishman has already been linked with a sensational move to Manchester United, with The Sun claiming the Red Devils are set to launch a £55million bid for the Chelsea contract rebel.

Mount leaves pitch in tears

The 24-year-old appeared to validate reports of his imminent exit from Stamford Bridge as he was spotted getting emotional as he left the pitch.

Photos doing the rounds on social media show the England international being comforted by his fellow countryman Ben Chilwell.

Mount's current contract with Chelsea is set to expire at the end of next season.

However, he is yet to renew his deal, having already allegedly turned down two new contract offers from the club.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, and Newcastle United have also been linked with a potential move for the Blues ace.

Loftus-Cheek waves his goodbyes

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has seemingly played his last game in a blue shirt after he was spotted waving goodbye to fans on the final day of the Premier League season.

The Englishman was part of Chelsea's lineup during their EPL clash against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, May 28.

Loftus-Cheek has been linked with a possible summer exit, with AC Milan reportedly keen on his services.
