A unique 'Ballon d'Or' dessert has been added to the menu of Lionel Messi's recently launched Hincha restaurant.

The Argentine superstar and World Cup winner opened up Hincha, which is translated as 'fan' in English, to the public on March 16, 2023.

The restaurant is located on the first floor of the MiM Andorra Hotel in Andorra.

Sportskeeda states that Hincha offers a variety of dishes which combine Lionel Messi's favourite foods from Argentina with the chef's innovation.

Customers can also choose from a plethora of beverages to accompany their meals.

According to Spanish media outlet, AS, the main intrigue is the Ballon d'Or themed dessert, which customers can try for $25.

The publication further states this is one of the most popular dishes served at the PSG superstar’s restaurant, and is expertly crafted by chef, Nandu Jubany.

Also on the menu are pizza, a selection of meats, pasta, vegetarian dishes, and seafood.

Messi sacks hotel staff

Meanwhile, Sports Brief also reported that Messi has reportedly fired the staff of a hotel he recently bought in Spain, with 40 people now unemployed.

According to reports, many people in the town are upset with the decisions of the Argentine, with the hotel reportedly operating for over ten years.

The Messi hotel has been the town's mainstay, providing security, comfort, and entertainment to guests, and job opportunites for the local residents.

Messi’s PSG future still uncertain

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Messi is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain upon the conclusion of the current football campaign.

The veteran's future with the French club has been the subject of intense speculation in the past few weeks, amid links to other major clubs.

A fairytale return to Barcelona has been proposed, and it will be interesting to see where the Argentine maestro will be playing next season.
