According to The Sun, the Blues splashed a massive fee of £89million to acquire his services from Shakhtar Donetsk during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old was initially billed to join Arsenal, with initial reports indicating the Gunners were in an advanced stage to sign him.

However, Chelsea joined the transfer race soon after, beating their London rivals to the signature of the Shakhtar Donetsk ace.

Mudryk shares cryptic post

However, the Blues forward has failed to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge since his arrival.

Mudryk has only managed just two assists in 16 games so far, with his struggles earning him widespread criticism.

The Ukrainian has now appeared to suggest he is unhappy at Chelsea after he shared a cryptic post.

The striker shared a photo of himself on Instagram alongside Ukraine U21 International Maksym Taloverov with the caption:

"I miss the time when we were happy like this."

Meanwhile, Mudryk will be hoping to rejuvenate his Chelsea career next season, with the west London club expected to hire a new permanent manager in the coming days.

Mudryk slammed for 'indecent' video

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Mykhailo Mudryk has found himself on the receiving end of wrath from fans, after he posted a controversial video on social media.

The Chelsea winger took to his Instagram stories and uploaded a video of an old man who was working out in the gym.

The unidentified man in the video had his shorts slightly below his waist, exposing the line on his sitting apparatus. Mudryk accompanied the video with a question mark as the caption.

It is not clear if the Ukrainian took the video or if he only reshared a post he saw somewhere else. Nonetheless, his post has not gone down well with fans online.
