Former Nigerian youth international, Bello Mohammed has been spotted in Abuja working as a security guard a few years after he quit football due to challenges and injury problems.
In 1999 and the early 2000s, Bello Mohammed was one of the biggest players in the Nigerian League, when he was playing for El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.
His style of play can be compared with that of former Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas, whose manner of distributing passes in the midfield was top-notch.
The target of Bello Mohammed was to play in Europe, but the former Zamfara United captain didn't know that that dream would not come true.
According to the reports on Pulse and Gistmania, Bello has been working as a security guard since 2021. He started in Kano before recently moving to Abuja.
Who were Mohammed's ex-teammates?
Bello Sudan played alongside Isa Hudu, the late Justice Christopher, Christian Obodo, Kelechi Okoye, Olaniyi Olayinka, Austin Ejide, Aniekan Enyeama, Dele Aiyenugba, Ajibade Omolade, and Onyebuchi Chukwumah.
Sports Brief spoke with Dele Aiyenugba, the captain of Kwara United, and the former Super Eagles goalkeeper explained that he is currently looking for the contact of Bello Mohammed.
