FootballAndy Cole Delivers Two Surprising Reasons Why Man United Should Sign Osimhen Ahead of Kane
- Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has scored 23 goals this term for Napoli in the Serie A
- Former Manchester United star Andy Cole has spoken about him and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane
- Cole told Man United chiefs why they should sign Osimhen and not Kane, in a detailed explanation
Former Manchester United star Andy Cole has suggested that those in charge of his former club should go for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen ahead of England international Harry Kane this summer.
The Red Devils have struggled this season in front of goal in all competitions, and they are expected to bring a new striker to Old Trafford at the end of the ongoing term.
Osimhen and Kane have been outstanding for their clubs this season, and Manchester United chiefs are looking forward to signing one of these supermen.
The Super Eagles striker has registered 23 goals this term for Napoli and has also won the Serie A title. Kane, on the other hand, has netted 27 Premier League goals for Tottenham.
According to the reports on Pulse and Utd District, Cole made it clear that Osimhen is the man who can really help Man United, considering his age and pace.
Cole wants Osimhen at United
"Kane is 30 years old next season and Osimhen is 24 years old, and he's already done a lot at his age too. Italian football is complicated, but there is no doubt that he can adapt to the Premier League. If Manchester United wants to pay £100m for a 24-year-old or a 30-year-old, you have to look at it in the long term.''
