  • Kevin De Bruyne and Pep Guardiola clashed midway through the second half of Man City's clash against Real Madrid
  • The incident happened after the Belgian playmaker lost possession to Eder Millitao before turning to his manager, shouting in anger
  • While it remains unclear what sparked the spat, it is believed De Bruyne was dissatisfied with the instructions shouted at him by Pep

Kevin De Bruyne and Pep Guardiola were caught on camera having a bitter exchange during Man City's Champions League clash against Real Madrid.

City were in perfect shape during the semi-final tie as they saw off the reigning champions to book a spot in the final of Europe's elite competition.

There was everything to play for ahead of the second-leg tie staged at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night after both teams settled for a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture played in Spain.

However, it was City who eventually emerged the victors, with the Premier League giants demolishing Real 4-0 to sail through on a 5-1 goal aggregate.

According to The Mirror, Bernardo Silva stole the show with a first-half brace before Akanji, and Julian Alvarez sealed a comfortable win for the hosts with a goal each after the break.

De Bruyne, Guardiola spotted arguing

City's win was clouded by a bizarre incident during the match, with De Bruyne and Guardiola spotted having a furious spat.

The Sun reports that the incident happened at the beginning of the second half when City were leading 2-0.

Footage from the scene showed De Bruyne losing his cool shortly after he had lost the ball to Real defender Eder Militao.

The Belgian had picked up possession and darted forward, only for him to lose possession to the Brazilian.

And instead of him trying to win the ball back, he turned around and shouted at his manager, who was on the touchline.

The midfielder was evidently angry with instructions barked out by Guardiola in the run-up to the incident.

The pair appeared to have buried the hatchet soon after, as they were spotted hugging when De Bruyne was subbed off.

Vini disagrees with Ancelotti

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Carlo Ancelotti and Vinicius Jr. appeared to have gotten in each other’s faces after Real Madrid conceded the first goal against Manchester City.

Madrid will want to forget the night quickly, as they were dominated and embarrassed by City in front of a packed Etihad Stadium.
