Paris Saint-Germain’s bid to keep Kylian Mbappe at the Parc des Princes Stadium beyond this season has got the club hierarchy seeking to offload players who could be bad influences on the French superstar.
Mbappe has been rumoured to be seeking a way out of the club, with Real Madrid renewing their interest in the forward, who penned a three-year deal with the Parisians last summer.
According to the Daily Post, some of the PSG hierarchy believe Hakimi has been a harmful influence on Mbappe, and the club is reportedly ready to sell the defender at the end of the season.
The Moroccan and the Frenchman have built a strong friendship since former defender joined PSG from Inter Milan in 2021. The stars have been seen hanging out in different cities.
24-year-old Hakimi is currently being investigated for assault and is also having a difficult time off the pitch, with his marriage to Spanish actress, Hiba Abouk set to end with a divorce.
PSG identify Kylian Mbappe’s replacement
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain could make a swoop for Arsenal target, Moussa Diaby. He is seen as Mbappe’s replacement, should the forward leave the club this summer, Sportskeeda reports.
The French star is reportedly dissatisfied with Christophe Galtier's management blueprint, and could seek a move away from the Parc des Princes next season.
Real Madrid are preparing a whopping €200 million bid for Mbappe, with the Spanish giants renewing their interest in the 24-year-old forward, who snubbed their advances last summer.
