  • Chelsea has been cautioned not to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar in the summer
  • PSG are ready to offload the Brazilian they bought for a world-record fee of €222 mil in 2017
  • Chelsea are among a few Premier League clubs, including Man United, interested in Neymar

Neymar’s uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain has placed some top English Premier League clubs on red alert, including Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United.

The Brazilian’s time at PSG has been filled with mixed emotions after failing to guide the Parisians to the UEFA Champions.

He arrived at the club in 2017 for a world record fee of €222 million.

“I wouldn’t go and get Neymar, not at all. You wouldn’t be able to get him out of Harrods if he came to England. He’d just be coming for another payday."

Gabby believes the Brazilian does not seem interested in club football.

“If you offered him the chance to just play for Brazil, he’d bite your hand off.”

Neymar has scored 13 goals in 20 matches so far in Ligue 1, before his 2022/2023 season was abruptly ended through injury.

Man City, Chelsea want Neymar

Meanwhile, Manchester City are ready to join the race for Neymar in the summer along with Man United and Chelsea, the Hard Tackle reports.

The Citizens are in the process of improving their stellar team and have identified the 31-year-old forward as one of the best candidates to come to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.

Due to a clause in his previous contract, Neymar is locked in until 2027. With four years left on his contract, the Ligue 1 club will find it difficult to offload him, given his value and the vast wages he earns each week.

Neymar drops hint on club

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Neymar possibly revealing his next club when he finally leaves Paris Saint-Germain, following a recent visit to Brazil.

The 31-year-old paid a visit to former club, Santos to watch his childhood team be held to a goalless draw by Audax Italiano in the Copa Sudamericana group stages.

Neymar offered hope to Santos fans when leaving the stadium after the counter, with a promise to the club's supporters that he would be back one day.
