Pogba's late brilliance for Juventus

Pogba was given 20 minutes off the bench in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final against competition specialist, Sevilla on May 11.

According to Express, the Spanish team appeared to be taking the advantage away from the Allianz Stadium before the Frenchman stepped up with an assist for Federico Gatti, who scored to earn a draw in the final minutes.

It was Pogba's first attacking output for the Bianconeri in the period of almost a year since his return, and it delighted Allegri that his substitutions had impacted the game.

“When [Pogba] plays in the opponent’s half, he becomes an extraordinary player. If he was in optimal condition, obviously, I would start him. He made a big contribution,” the 55-year-old said, as quoted by Tutto Mercato.

There is still all to play for at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez in Seville next week, with a place in the final around the corner for whoever wins on the day.

This has been just one of the disciplinary issues Pogab has faced since his return, including public backlash for jet skiing during his knee injury rehab.
