Paris Saint-Germain and Neymar have reportedly reached a mutual agreement for the Brazilian forward to leave the club at the end of the season, despite having two more years on his contract.
The 31-year-old forward has faced heavy criticism from PSG fans since making the switch to the Ligue 1 giants from Barcelona for a world-record fee of €222 million in 2017.
According to Football Espana, Neymar is set to follow Lionel Messi out of PSG this summer with the Brazilian’s €50 mil annual salary an issue for the reigning French champions.
The Parisians are believed to be open to compromise on his exit and will consider a loan deal with an option to buy for the 31-year-old, who has been injured for several months.

Neymar will have many options when he leaves PSG this summer, with several English Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle, having been linked with an interest in the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, Neymar is already considering a switch to the English Premier League when he eventually leaves Paris Saint-Germain this summer, Goal reports.
Manchester United are open to signing the 31-year-old this summer, with the forward reportedly willing to lower his current €50m annual wage to secure a move.
Neymar was ruled out for the remainder of the season in February after the Brazilian underwent surgery for an ankle injury he suffered during a Ligue 1 game.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Neymar responding to PSG fans via social media, after furious protests calling on him to leave the club along with Messi in the summer.
Supporters known as the 'Ultras' showed up at the Brazilian’s home last week to demand an end to his continued stay in France, for a world-record transfer fee in 2017.
Neymar responded by posting a cryptic message on Instagram, which seemed to suggest he would not be drawn into the so-called storm the PSG Ultras were creating.
