"The [KNVB Cup] final came too early for Kudus, but he did participate in all training sessions with the group and is available again," stated Ajax manager, John Heitinga in a pre-match presser.

The Ajax coach revealed Devyne Rensch had also passed a test at De Kuip (Feyenoord's home ground) on Sunday and again on this week, meaning he had begun fully training with the team.

"[Steven] Berghuis did not train this week and completed his own program; he had to go to the side with complaints during the cup final and is a doubtful case for Saturday evening," Heitinga added.

Kudus has been Ajax's best player this season, scoring 18 goals and providing five assists across all competitions.

Kudus advised to join Arsenal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on former Holland and Ajax player, Frank de Boer stating Kudus would be a perfect fit for the Arsenal set-up.
