Lionel Messi’s fairytale move to Paris Saint-Germain has gone sour in recent weeks and the Argentine superstar is reportedly set to leave the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season.
Fans of PSG have turned against the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, demanding his departure in a protest outside the club's headquarters after the Parisians failed again in their quest for the Champions League title.
According to Sportskeeda, Javier Mascherano has now claimed PSG does not value Messi and warned the Ligue 1 club that they would regret the way they treated the Argentine superstar.
“I think that 10 years ago, no Paris fan imagined that they could possibly have the best player in history on their team And instead of enjoying it, they spent these two years criticising it. In 10 years, they will regret it. Any team in the world would give anything to have him for five minutes. Neither party deserved this ending.”
