Cristiano Ronaldo’s desire to once again play for Real Madrid might not become a reality after the reigning La Liga champions distanced themselves from the rumour.
The 37-year-old is rumoured to be seeking a move away from the Middle East just four months after joining Saudi Arabia’s top club Al-Nassr in a mega deal in January.
According to the Daily Mirror, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes acquiring Ronaldo will not benefit the club’s sporting project and has therefore ruled out making a move for the forward.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are both keen to return to Madrid, where they met before he moved to Juventus.

Ronaldo has scored once in his last four appearances for the Saudi Arabian club and has yet to score in six of his previous nine.
Coincidentally, a decline in results for Al-Nassr following Ronaldo’s arrival in January has seen the club lose the top spot in the league and elimination from the Saudi Arabian Cup.
