Marcus Rashford Reportedly Housing ‘Broke’ Man United Legend

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is reportedly renting out his one of his properties to Red Devils legend Wes Brown, who is bankrupt.

Brown is understood to have been declared bankrupt after owing a huge six-figure debt to the taxman, as well as a car company.

According to The Mirror, the former defender is alleged to have lost millions of pounds after property deals he was pursuing went wrong.

His dire situation is understood to have caught the attention of his former teammates at Old Trafford, with Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick among those who have rallied around the former England international.

Rashford is the latest United star to show his support for Brown, with the forward reportedly housing the 43-year-old in one of his lavish properties.

The youngster is said to have rented out the property on what has been described as a 'mates' rates deal'.

Wes Brown's Man United career

Meanwhile, Brown enjoyed an illustrious career at the Theatre of Dreams spanning close to 20 years.

The Sun reports that the 43-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester United before he broke into the senior team.

The Englishman went on to make more than 260 appearances for the first team, winning an incredible 11 titles in the process.

At the international level, the former defender earned 23 caps for the Three Lions.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United legend Ruud Van Nistelrooy could hardly hide his delight in the dressing room after he helped PSV Eindhoven win the Dutch Cup.
