Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey believes former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor will be remembered by fans of the club for his celebration against the Gunners at the Etihad.
Adebayor spent three years at Arsenal, playing 104 matches and scoring 46 goals for the Gunners before moving to Manchester City in 2009.
During his time at City in the 2009/10 campaign, the Togo legend scored against his former club and celebrated wildly in front of Arsenal fans at the Etihad.
According to Partey, Adebayor's gesture tainted the legacy he built with the North London club.

"He gave and then destroyed because everything he gave here was fantastic and when he scored against Arsenal and celebrated in front of the fans, he destroyed it," said Partey to Super Sport TV.
"For me he is a fantastic player and one of the best strikers from Africa but if you want to talk about here that is what I can say," he added.
Partey is hoping to build his own legacy at Arsenal by helping the club end their 19-year wait for the Premier League title.
