"For Nwankwo Kanu, people say he looks like me," he told Super Sport. "I think we played a charity game in Ghana and he was throwing the ball over me but I was quicker, he was old then," he added.
"When he was in his prime, I was young and I can't say I saw a lot of him but he was a great player."

Asked about Lauren, the former Atletico Madrid midfielder jokingly replied he was not born.

However, Partey described Emmanuel Adebayor as a hero and a villain at Arsenal following his famous celebration in a game against Manchester City.

"He gave and the destroyed because everything he gave here was fantastic and when he scored against Arsenal and celebrated in front of the fans, he destroyed it," said Partey.
"For me he is a fantastic player and one of the best strikers from Africa but if you want to talk about here that is what I can say," he added.

Adebayor and Kolo Toure spent time at Arsenal and Manchester City together. Partey has huge admiration for the Ivorian centre-back.

"I did not see a lot of him at Arsenal but he was one of the best defenders we saw in Africa," continued Partey.

Partey, however, heaped praises on former teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng describing him as the best he played with at Arsenal.

"Auba was the best here when I came and for me he has done a lot here and deserves to be appreciated," he added.

Also, at Arsenal at the moment with Partey is Mohamed El Nenny, who the midfielder describes as inspirational.

Partey clashes with Jack Grealish

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the top-of-the-table clash between Manchester City and Arsenal went beyond just the game on the pitch as tempers flared during the encounter.

Just like any title-deciding match, there was a lot at stake for both teams as Arsenal sought to wrestle the league from Manchester City with the Etihad outfit looking to defend their laurel.

It ended up being a feast for the Citizens, who thumped Arsenal 4-1 to close the gap on the Gunners while holding a two-game advantage.
