Barcelona are doing everything possible to ensure Lionel Messi returns to Camp Nou next season after recently meeting with La Liga officials.
Messi has been heavily linked with a return to the Catalan giants this summer after talks over a contract renewal with Paris Saint-Germain stalled.
According to Football Espana, Barcelona Director of Football Mateu Alemany and Treasurer Ferran Olive met with Corporate General Director Javier Gomez and General Executive Director Oscar Mayo from La Liga to discuss the Messi deal in a restaurant in Madrid.

Alemany described the meeting with La Liga, which lasted over one hour and 30 minutes as informal on his way out of the restaurant.
Messi whose two-year contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer, intensified rumours of his return to Barcelona after spending last weekend in the city with former teammates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
