Former Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has disclosed that Pep Guardiola mandates that his players, including Lionel Messi, make love with their partners before midnight.
According to the Frenchman, Guardiola wants his players to get a good night's sleep because it helps prevent muscle injuries.
In an interview with L'Equipe, via Sportskeeda, Nasri revealed that the former Barcelona gaffer had a love-making rule at the Etihad.
Per the attacking midfielder, the rule was also applied by the manager at Barcelona and every player had to follow it.

He said:"On a day off, Guardiola told us that anyone who wanted to make love should do so before midnight because they need to have a good night's sleep. He says he did it with [Lionel] Messi and since then he hasn't had a muscle injury."
Guardiola has previously acknowledged enforcing the rule on his team. The Spaniard stated that although sleep is crucial, he wants his players to engage in active love making.
GiveMeSport cited him as saying the following:
"It's impossible to play good football if you don't make love with your partner. I would never forbid that. If you're doing it, you play better."
