- United beat Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final after a tense 120 minutes at the Wembley Stadium
- Fans have reacted to the Man United account's tweet, with many thinking it was aimed at March
Manchester United have been heavily criticised by a section of social media users, after sending out a tweet that appeared to be a major dig at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Erik ten Hag's men triumphed on post-match penalties in the FA Cup semi-final on April 23 after neither side could break the deadlock after 120 minutes.
It was a closely contested affair, with the Seagulls once again showing how far they have come under Roberto De Zerbi this season.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, were out to ensure they did not suffer back-to-back cup exits after Sevilla bundled them out of the Europa League last Thursday.

Both teams converted their first six penalties before Solly March skied his effort, leaving Victor Lindelof with an opportunity to send United through to the final.
The Swede was cool under pressure, putting his spot kick past Robert Sanchez.
What United's Twitter admin wrote
Afterwards, the admin of Manchester United's official Twitter account posted:
"WE’RE ON THE MARCH WITH TEN HAG’S ARMY!"
Whether intentional or by coincidence, the message of the tweet was clear to Twitter users.
The fact that it was a player called March who missed the penalty that allowed United to proceed, and the word 'march' itself being used in the same sentence, did not go down well with a few people.

Embattled Dutch striker, Wout Weghorst helped his side qualify for a second final in less than four months, picking up the ball and kissing it before March took his attempt.
