"I was thinking of celebrating the goal by sliding with my knees, but I have a little inflammation, and I chose to do the one for my idol, who is Cristiano Ronaldo," he said, as translated by Mikael Madridsta.
He would put the game and the tie beyond the reach of the Blues with a simple tap-in ten minutes later as Los Blancos became the first club to beat Chelsea twice at Stamford Bridge.
