Fayza Lamari has explained the reason why Kylian Mbappe lashed out at Paris Saint-Germain following the club’s release of an advert early this month.

Mbappe had taken to social media to criticize the reigning Ligue 1 champions after the club released a promotional video advertising season tickets whilst almost exclusively featuring the 24-year-old forward.

According to Marca, Fayza has now revealed Mbappe was angry at the time of the incident which prompted the reaction from the 2018 World Cup winner.

"He was angry. He called me, as he usually does when he decides to do something on social media. He said it in the heat of the moment, with his heart. He simply responded like a child who was born with social media.”

Mbappe is PSG’s top scorer this season as the Frenchman has netted 32 times and provided nine assists in 36 games for the Parisians in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe has fixed all issues with Paris Saint-Germain after the forward’s recent outburst on social media criticising the French club, Sportskeeda reports.

Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamari had revealed the 24-year-old was ready to face the consequences of his outburst following his actions, but all that has now been fixed with the Ligue 1 giants.

The 2022 World Cup Golden Boot winner will face no further actions from the club after receiving a phone call from PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after his outburst.

World Cup winner criticises Kylian Mbappe

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kylian Mbappe’s recent criticism of Paris Saint-Germain has not gone down well with a French World Cup winner Christophe Dugarry.

Dugarry doesn’t believe Mbappe should have taken his grievances to social media following the striker’s outburst blasting the Ligue 1 champions.

Dugarry, who played 55 times for the French national team, said that Mbappe needed to stop with his ego and focus instead on performing for the team.
