While PSG wants to retain his services, Al-Hilal, Barcelona, and Inter Miami have also expressed interest in signing the superstar. Still, the veteran is yet to decide on his future.

As noted by Barca Universal, Messi has rejected a move to the Saudi Arabian side despite offering him €400 million per year to join them.

While some fans are desperate for their teams to sign the Argentine captain, Jérôme Rothen is desperate for his side to get rid of Messi.

The former AS Monaco and PSG player didn't mince his words when talking about the possibility of Messi not renewing his contract with the Ligue 1 champions, GFNF reported.

“It’s a good thing for everyone. We don’t want any last-minute changes. Goodbye and good luck, Leo," he said.

Rothen's tirade against the World Cup winner didn't end there though, as he accused him of returning to Barcelona whenever he had time off in France.

“I’ve read that Barcelona wants to get him back, and I wish him all the best. He’s in love with the city and the club. He’s never hidden that, and whenever he has two days off, he goes to Barcelona… at least he’ll be there and make an effort."

Rothen is no stranger to criticising the Argentine and has often shared his thoughts on how he believes Messi doesn't show up in big games for PSG.

PSG legend tears Messi apart

In related coverage, Sports Brief previously reported on PSG legend, Rothen being unhappy with Messi.

The former Parisians player criticised the Argentine after PSG's elimination from the Champions League.

The French side were convincingly beaten across two legs by Bayern Munich, prompting outrage at Messi.
